Pulled this one from the archives. This was a passion project rebrand I did a few years ago for Wimbledon that I never ended up sharing. With the tournament wrapping this weekend, it felt like the perfect time to share!
The whole concept centers around the grass. Itâs what makes Wimbledon Wimbledon. I wanted the identity to feel fresh but still rooted in traditionâcrisp lines, bold greens, playful type, and little nods to the charm of the Wimbledon atmosphere (yes, strawberries included).

Throughout the project we explored energetic visuals, a 3-D type exploration and multiple patterns for the brand, and wanted the work to feel like it was moving, and to jump out at you! Boompaâs guiding message of âLet the Wild Out!â meant every aspect of the brand needed to be confident and expressive to showcase and promote this soul and energy.

Something I typically donât advise is using the same brand element across all applications, but in this case I fell in love with this âBâ mark. I wanted to see how many different ways I could use it across different applications while still making it visually interesting and representative of the brand. Ideally you would use various design elements such as a primary logo including the name, logotypes, sub marks, additional illustrations, patterns, etc. depending on the application. This helps to fully communicate who you are along with creating a complete experience for your audience.

A few weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our sweet Rusty, who received a cancer diagnosis earlier this year. This time has been difficult personally and professionally, as he meant so much to us and had a big impact on day-to-day activities (those lunchtime walks arenât going to take themselves!) here at TDC. Heâs been an inspiration, a positive light, a distraction and a companion at home and at TDC, and he will continue to have an impact on everything we do. We love you Rusto.

Branding concept for Boompa! A lifestyle brand that promotes personal expression and sells sunglasses and other merch. This was not the final concept but I really enjoyed working on this direction. Brand identity work we created for Handcrafted by Heidi, a boutique brand featuring handcrafted macrame and florals. We customized the type and designed this custom âHâ macrame mark to communicate the âhandcraftedâ aspect of the brand. We also created a welcoming color palette and rounded it out with additional brand illustrations along with signage, branded packaging tape and hang tags to up the charm!

The Original Stretchlace (featured on Shark Tank!) had their branding in place, but were looking to expand out their packaging for a new line of products. Stretchlace products help solve problems by turning every shoe into a slip-on, giving you the freedom to wear whatever shoes you like while elevating comfort, and providing ultimate ease-of-use.
The brand has a unique, signature style and Stretchlace wanted their packaging to continue to display their range of stretchy shoelaces. We created 5 custom package designs for them with hand drawn illustration and type to help display the uniqueness of each product and to showcase how valuable their products are.
